I really don't know why I am wasting my time by writing this, but hopefully, a few will see this and not buy from this criminal.
Michael La Rosa and Adept Design Studio promised me a professional design, and AMAZING turnaround times. Just have a look at his Elance page to see how much he thinks of himself.
To show for the grand I paid him, I have a pretty naff jpeg riddled with errors, and that's it. Nothing else.
He even sacked his "co-CEO" Burak Bingollu half way through the project, then hired someone else, who also disappeared ( Ariel Fuggini ). Ariel spoke to me for a while - completely shocked at how I was treated, then disappeared too.
Conveniently I never see anyone on Skype anymore, Michael has even taken his picture from his profile so you can't see his cheating thieving face, and Elance are appalled by this criminal. He has ignored ever warning I sent even though his elance shows him regularly logging in.
Whatever you do, do not use this criminal for your work. [POST TRUNCATED]

To this day NO REFUND has taken place, nor has there been any contact between freelancer and buyer.
Freelancers web sites have been taken down.
Elance page taken down.
UPDATE - January 15th 2009
We receive our THIRD case about Michael La Rosa / Adept Design Studio / www.adept21.com. We are still to confirm details and accuracy with elance.
UPDATE - April 2009
Buyer shows evidence that Michael La Rosa has agreed to a generous FINAL OFFER OF 50% REFUND in return for full settlement with no legal action. Michael La Rosa calls the offer "more than fair" and agrees to pay 50% of final value by 30 April 2009
FINAL UPDATE - 1 MAY 2009
Michael La Rosa / Adept Design Studio FAIL TO PAY 50% to the buyer. and are now ignoring all communication again.
Buyer begins legal action against Michael La Rosa / Adept Design Studio / www.adept21.com.
Buyer also bans Michael La Rosa email address on advice of legal team. All communication now through intermediaries (including this site) or legal team.
